Tuesdays are Mondays at Lycette, because Sundays are Saturdays. In simpler terms, we are closed Sunday & Monday. Thus, Tuesday is the start of our week.
I love starting my week with beautiful, inspiring things. I hope this list of 5 quick ones inspires a smile~
This straw purse from Heidi Wynne. I have had this bag for over 6 years, and I still receive compliments on it. It is simple & classic, and holds a lot. Heidi no longer carries this bag, but I adore this one from Hat Attack. PS I truly believe that a woman only needs a straw bag, a boat n’ tote, and a leather purse for colder months.
I’ve been slowly diving more into Tik Tok, and thus have stumbled upon profiles that I adore. One of these is Martine Lavelle, chic & understated Martine splits time between the Cape & NYC. Her tik toks range from fashion to cooking, and beauty to interior design. The videos are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also feel very authentic. Not published for clicks, but because these are things Martine actually enjoys. Click here to watch~
I rewatch Mozart in the Jungle every few years. It is one of my favorite tv shows, a must if you love music! While I did not enjoy the last season, I adore the first three seasons. I highly recommend watching Mozart in the Jungle, especially as we head into cooler months (classical music & cold weather go hand in hand). Watch now on Amazon Prime.
Talk about a girl crush! Charlotte Molesworth is an “artist, gardener, topiarist” according to her instagram profile. Recently featured in World of Interiors for her cozy & eclectic house, Charlotte has such classic & organic style. I adore her dedication to creating out of passion, no matter how long it takes. This is not a woman who churns out products to satisfy quick conveniences, but rather takes time to create things she loves. PS this feature on Molly Mahon was also fabulous.
Clogs. I first fell in love with clogs a few years ago, purchasing a pair on sale from Swedish Hasbeens. I never thought they would become my go to shoes. A few weeks ago I purchased a second pair from Swedish Hasbeens (shown above). They took around a week to break in, but now I barely take them off. PS Swedish Hasbeens is currently having a sale~
